I can see it's time to depart
I can see, that faraway look that, tells me
It won't be, long...
And the truth is in your eyes, I must lose you
My heart cries, at the thought of losing you
Whether I gain or lose, it's written in the stars
That one day, you'll walk away, from me!
Musn't say, that I love, no way no how
But from the hilltops, I want to shout
My mountain high, the top of my world
From across the river, that's as angry, as you are

But that's the nemesis in me, that devil in disguise
Or is it the poet, that cannot abide
The laughter within me, the love!

The sorrow, within nothing less than, infernal
As if a poison dart, has wounded my, heart
Killing me!
With the quest of, a poet's phrases of love
That has tasted, love real or, otherwise
From a lover to that stranger, I've become.

Still burning within, you
Sparking minds, as our bodies, touch
Ambiguity, not anywhere as you, walk away
Leaving me!
In the storming night, the thunder
Above that mountain high.
The waterfall nearby, and I cried
I cried, fragmenting breaking, my heart
You're, much more than my lover,
You've grown roots, embedded deep in, my heart
But, I'll say I love you never, no more
Am the one that needs, wants you
Whether, am a mystery, known or unknown
It's only me!!
The unknown woman, that must walk, away
Taking a different journey, a different path
