A Trip To The Opticians

My friend and I out for the day
We had lunch, a little wine.
What a better place to be sitting, by the sea
Watching life, the boats sailing by
A little champers did we have, oh Yah!! Yessiree
And what a glorious day, too hot for me I must, say!!
I had good company, laughter exuded, ringing through the air.
The wine warming my blood, as if hot enough, wasn't I!!
With luncheon over, taking a walk.
Meandering through the park the harbour, waters so busy
Sailing boats, Sunseekers sedately floating, on their way to the sea.
Walking into Sunseekers, ordering my new yacht, oh my  :p
Just to get out of the sun!!
Going through the process, am afraid I was short of a million, or two
I said matters not we'll come back, in a moment or two.
When I've cooled down my blood's boiling
My brain sizzling, my millions together could not add.
Must go seek sugar daddy, to play our little game!! :-)
After another glass of champers, none of your prosecco for me.
It started tickling my nose, uncontrollable sneezing.
Ambling out from the cold AC into, the sweltering heat
Retracing our steps, through a bustling high street
On our way to the opticians...
Great getting into the AC building, for I was melting!
At the reception stopping...
A lovely lady, taking our details
Didn't have to wait long, before we were called
A very pleasant optician awaiting me
A smile on her face welcoming me, she looked lovely in her heels
Made me think of me.
In my working days, I dressed thus as she in my heels, I would be,
Clip-clopping away, through my pharmacy.
Through the process goes I, examining my eyes
Nought wrong ship-shape, telling me, no probs behind my eyes
I was so glad to hear!
Except I needed goggles, to read and write, words
So my glasses prescription she handed me.
Guiding me to where frames, would be
Then a rather yummy, man, calls my friend and me.
And we sit down to finalise the proceedings.
First taking note of Chris, completing the did...
Then he came to me, as I open my gob
He looks at me and asks, are, you German?
Nein says I, welcome to the club.
You're, not the first or the last I dare say, tinking so.
Am Madeiran!!
A beautiful island in the middle of the Atlantic
Where the flowers grow and the wine flows, little cakes galore...
Yummy!
Something about him, as he asks, look straight at me.
Into my mind, came this thought,
Look into my eyes, look into my eyes, what do you see!
I started laughing, I couldn't look at him, gorgeous eyes had, he!
He might have seen into my soul, had I looked at him!!
Amusement in his eyes, as he too started laughing...
Each time I tried looking at him, into his eyes
Laughters burst's from me...
As my friend says she, German!!
And given that salute,
Yah!! Says I,
I might be, want to see my swastika?
But control we could not, it felt so good laughing uncontrollably.
Even if at, the opticians...
But taking myself in hand, looking at him, seriously.
No more mucking about, am ashamed to say.
He kind of measured my face, setting the frames, upon my visage.
Then he gets some implement, looks in my eyes, one at the time...
Laughter waiting to burst from me!
As my friend says, he didn't do that to me!
Ja! I know...Cause am German!!!
OMG!! we burst out laughing, the three of us
Then he calls out, sends for security and lock, them up.
Then he tells us a story that has us in stitches all over again.
It'll take too long to repeat; otherwise, this will never end!
It was such a fun trip to the opticians.
Good feel factor, endorphins rising my blood.
Yet again my friend says, he didn't do that to me!!
And all over again it started, laughing.
Must have been the wine the champers
Left feeling good.
I miss the interaction between humanity's
Yah, siree...
I need laughter in my life, Yah, I do!!
Phew!!
Apologies my friends epic was just having a little fun...

With each word uttered, seeing confusion, in me
Tired of being good, darling

Am I allowed not, to feel devilish
Confusion there's not, in the way I feel, for you
Always, this feeling of incompetence
When am around you...
Try real hard, to make you see me, as I do you
This being, living breathing
But, that the crux!
Wanting to wrap, myself around you, like a limpet
Feel you move, the way we used, to do
Darling, feeling devilish!
As you move before me, that stance in you
Flexing your muscles for me!
How great would it be, if you just, love me
No doubt in my mind, I like what I see!
Yesterday we had much to say
Ambling through the woods...
Hunting for that, elusive flower bird or fungi
A field, of bluebells stretching before me
Visually a sea of blue
Their heads dancing in the breeze
Stood there, awestruck, holding my breath
The thought came to me, how wonderful, would it be
Making love on that wondrous, field of blue
The birds singing a symphony
Rising all around me
Your eyes are smiling, gazing at you
Smiling in your heart, that vision, affecting you
As you point your camera, taking a shot or two
Mesmerised by the view...
Enriching my senses, as I photographed, you
Photographing the view
A thought came to my mind, that there may be a God
After all, natural nature filling our senses...
Glistening through the trees, the sun's rays
Twinkling, blinding me
Looking up, protecting my eyes
Ambling, through those fields, of blue
And his eyes, like my skies, the bluest of blues
Behind me, an ocean scintillating little stars
Cast by, the glistening sun
Walking down by the shore, a turquoise, sea inviting me
Whispering calmly, come and play
I looked up at he, as we laid down lulled, by the sea
His hands exploring me
Tremors ringing right, through me
Yah! In heaven we're we!

From the other side of midnight
When we're alone together,
no one else in sight...
I'd whisper in the morning
And I'll whisper in the moonlight
And I'll whisper softly in your ear
As I say goodnight...

Smilingly looking at me, why not!!
So beneath those palm trees
We'd whisper through the night
You were leaving in the morning
leaving me,
To sit think and write words, of yesterday
That at the time seemed alright
The happiness we shared,
Forgetting not those little pains
In a blink, of an eye happiness dies
Ambiguity in my mind,
Recollecting, a tomorrow that'll never come
When all forgotten
I've entertained happiness
But there are, still those little pains 
And on the darkness of mine nights
I'd whisper to the moon, in her full bloom
Words half-uttered between us
Love's love borrowed or otherwise
Touching in the night
Sending shivers down my spine
Many, many words between us
Reminding us
That on the other side of midnight
Love existed in our hearts 
Regret our words, why should I
Like a opium to my mind
Cannot disguise the wonder between us
For you're all I need, you do realise
For as I kiss your lips your eyes
And the hunger in between the sighs
Once in our lives
Love liveth within us!!

In My Minds Eyes

In the eyes of my mind, I dream of you
My thoughts my imaginings, are with you
In the eyes of my mind, I see you writing
Your verses your phrases, of poetry
My thoughts of you, telling you
Those words are mine and yours, alone
I've never divulged even to you...
Didn't think you'd care to hear, these words
That I composed just for you,
In my lunar skies in, full bloom
Casting her light sublime
Glistening stars scintillating, little diamonds
In the velvety darkness, of my firmament
Until that shooting star falling across
My darkening skies,
A dying star...
And I made a wish on that, shooting star
You can wish on a falling star...
Can't tell you what I wished for,
It wouldn't come true if I told you
In between shadows, the alleyways
Shadows amongst shadows, you can see
In your eyes, they'll be!
Music sweet, music it's all around you...
The laughter, sweet laughter, filling the air
Intoxicating sounds, bewitchingly
Lifting my spirits high
A dozen fold...
I should have told you
as I waited, by the falls in dew
As the evening drew in...
The scent of the flowers, intoxicatingly
Scaling, high my senses
So heady the Jasmine...
Lulling my senses
These words I've longed to utter
I love you...
In such a way I've loved you
Without barriers, impossible you'd think not
With a vengeance, obsessively
In my ambiguity, I've touched you
My obsessive, obsession
In mine eyes I beheld you, I've felt your every sinew
My whispering hands, over you
I've loved you as if a tomorrow there wouldn't be
Travelling, so far in, between the distances
I've kissed, your heart
With a passion, I've loved you
An uncomprehending passion, impossible I'd thought not
Spelling my words "I Love You"
Secretly, your lips I hunger, for
But of course, I think you knew...,
In my silence and in my pride, am loving you
With all I possess, the very core of me
It takes every once in me, my pride
My pride I have none when it comes, down to you
In my obsessiveness
My love will always be, with you 
I've walked near and far, it's been a long road
But in your eyes, I can see the longing
The yearnings of yesterdays

Turbulence, within me my mind, I was lost
Lost in the mire of my thoughts, hurting!
What did I do, I knew not

To spend, a little time,

You've been roving the seas...
Oceans wild, having the time of your life.
I know, you miss the exhilaration, of your old life
Bringing fire, back into your blood

With longing in your eyes
The adrenalin filling your mind,
With the exaltation in your blood, it's true
But I so missed your, arms about me!
Your blue eyes gazing at me,
Running my fingers through your, long hair
The way you touch me...
You always, exude this river in me
Longing for your touch,
Just the, slightest of touches, making me purr
Like a, she, beast...
Making love...
What an awesome feeling, would it be
Getting lost in your arms, all around me...
Ahh! Making love last night
You were beautiful!
Just as in the days of old, lost was I,

Echoing through my mind, a time
Where restraints, there were none

Magic Flute *****

Magic Flute

Eyes we need not, to play the flute
We just need to feel
We need a soul-deep...Within
Picking, a much-beloved flute, making a sound
Such a glorious sound
Fingering as we play each and every note
As from memory, the blind man plays
It's engraved in his soul his heart each memorable note.
I love the silence of the night
It's so easy to think
It's the best time to write when everyone asleep
Like the flute player forever in the dark
He can see each note in his mind
As he runs his fingers along the flute
It's so wonderful to just sit and listen to him play
Such pure sounds exuding from his flute
As if a choir of angels keeping him in tune
Feeling angry and frustrated,
Moving, on my way
Far from peaceful, as I wash my hands
From the ignorance of those;
Crossing the highways and byways
With the crescent of a new moon just
Lighting, the closed up cafe
No guitar strings tonight
But the blind flute player sitting across the road
Playing in the wind
Like a dream whispering in the breeze
With my tears silently running
Listening to him...
Too many words spoken such a cacophony of sounds
Let there please be silence
So I can just listen, this wondrous flute player
Bringing me back, memories from home
Of love and love lost
The shelter of him, his arms
Still can hear the blind man playing
His magic flute!

             

A Cavern In My Soul ******

There's a cavern in my soul
Awaiting to swallow me
It's as deep as my oceans
Cracking up I think I'll be
Much too emotional it hurts
Within me
When I cannot see thee
It's an impossibility
Much too far
It's well beyond me
But I try I really try, to care not
If he goes or stays
But in my heart of hearts
I won't let it be
My heart won't let me
Echoing through my mind
Reason's telling me, let it be
But how can I let it be
For I adore, he...
Day and night on my mind he'll be
And in the darkness of my nights,
when sleep eludes me
Wanting he hugging me
He's the reason I breathe sleep eat
And drink the essence of he
In my dreams, he'll be
The Absurdity
In how I live the days of my days
On my mind, intrinsically he'll be
But there's this cavern waiting for me
To trip and swallow me
Logically it won't be   
Fall I must not for he
Too late, oh dear lord too late it'll be

On The Wings Of An Eagle


Ambling through paradise I see you,

Camera in hand passing by
As I lie by the lakes beneath a cloudless, sky
Nought ever changes, has always been your way
Taking candid shots as am, laying taking the sun
And through those, lakes, you amble through
As if in paradise were you;
I can see pleasure, in your eyes
As you breathe, deeply, stretching to the skies
The omnipotence I see as if a God, you'd be
Casting your eyes my way...
Lifting that camera high, snapping away
Nought changes I whispered
Sitting crossed leg facing me
Taking note of the view, smiling eyes
As you, leeringly at me my top, unhooking
I can read your mind!
As I lean forward, offering my lips...
These, lakes leaving you mesmerised, how I, you love
Casting a glace far and wide
At, the going down of the sun, screwing your eyes
Camera at the ready to snap & record
The downing of the sun at the ending of the day;
Mesmerised by the colours, smilingly you bow
Namaste!
Drink in hand lifting your glass high
To a glorious day chin, chining away
With stars, dancing in your eyes
As the evening is through, there's only me and you
Storming my blood looking at you ...
You're as tense, as the strings of your guitar
Play me darling won't you...
Play me as you play your guitar, make me feel
As into, the horizon, I can fly like a bird,
Amongst other birds in the sky
Open my wings and fly...
Make me feel like that Eagle, undulating by
On the thermal winds
Whisper my name,
On the wings of a butterfly am swaying in the breeze
Fluctuating on those thermal, winds of love
Running your nails, down my spine
Making me purr for all times
Exuding through me the ecstasy, rising high
On the wings of an Eagle, goes I
Lost for all times, I'll be,
Trembling shivering my body
As you kiss me, once more
With one look one touch
I melt within!
