I Love You

By Connie James

Apollo
I love you!
Said she, in her minds mind
Tears silently exuding from her eyes.
breaking into a sob;
Constricting her breathing
For he'd be the air that she breathes
The Stellar in her skies.
How can one move beyond loving
Morn noon and night.
She mustn't show her misery.
Her teacher became, he.
Her ignorance is such, her innocence.
Confounded she'd be!
I Love You!
Her world's upside down
Turning inside out.
Blindfolded, she wouldn't be!
All the way willingly.
What a crock he turned to be
Useless feeling...
I Love You!
Said she in her minds mind
While breaking down
Fragmenting her heart
A life half lived!
One's life, ignorances
How does one go beyond loving
In the eyes of her mind?
What's the point of living this life
This emptiness
This abysm falling into this cavity
Without hope in hell of anchoring me.
Begging set me free!
From the fires in my blood
Burning insidiously.
Once again, she could feel.
I feel you!
A river running turbulent me.
Again, must I refrain from loving?
How does one go beyond life
After love?
Extinguishing from one's eyes
An impossibility, in the eyes of her mind
Kissing you one more time.
I Love You;
Ringing through her confounded mind
What's the point
Of it all!?
