Valentines Day

On this day of days being valentines day 
Whether one believes or not in love and romance 
I guess such a day, comes to remind us that loves inherently within us 
Whether we like it or not love comes playing havoc with our minds
Receptive or not love comes to sting like a bee, hurting us
Until one day that fluttering butterfly extricating itself
From that chrysalis that was us...
Love in our eyes our hearts our minds, insanely driving us
In a world we knew not nor will ever have known
A world of pain and desire and lust ever after
Our minds immune from thinking, reasoning as love knocks on our door's
Imminently, the stars in our eyes, scintillating before our eyes
When that first kiss liberating us lifting that gossamer from our minds
Our minds that knew not such feelings residing within us
Gazing into their eyes, as if the sun's penetrating in our hearts
When love's first, time hits us like that thunderbolt,
Thunderstruck tumbling low from our skies,
And we can't sleep not eat not, love's in our minds...
But what's love?
But a uniting of hearts, that soul mate right there before your eyes
Thinking sleeping dreaming eating drinking the love light in their eyes
That if you're lucky enough, it'll last for all times
Into infinity and back, when love resides in their eyes
When loves in bud unfurling like a beautiful butterfly
When theirs stars in our eyes...
