Spring Time

Sun shining through my window
It's a bright beautiful morn,
The sun's coming out to play so, gay
There's a symphony in the air a chorus
The little birds singing so sweetly
Lifting the mood somewhat, so nice hearing the birds singing
On my trees the mirrored glass hanging here and there
Casting by the sun's reflexion like all the colours of a rainbow,
Dancing in the breeze.
There, the gold's the reds blues the greens,
The golds just like the sun fully blown,
Blindingly as you watch the birds as they feed,
And me chasing the squirrels away as they try to sneak in
So clever they are you can see their brains ticking
How to solve the problem to get to that feeder
Like acrobats, they'll be trying to reach that morsel much desired
They've such a cheek, I throw them a nut or two
Excitedly they run feeling up their cheeks
Then burying the blooming lot, what a cheek
The bamboo canes swaying in the breeze mesmerising watching them
As they bend majestically,  as they dance indolently
At the very bottom of my garden, I placed a mirror there
And there's a bird keep tip tapping away there
His reflexion he can see on the other side
It's mate it thinks it must be, so excited is he
His own reflexion mistakenly...
The Daffodils about such a sight to see right there before your eyes
A carpet of yellow stretching as far as one can see
Lifting one's spirits a hundred fold
I love the times of Spring
The snowdrops the crocuses the primroses the Hyacinths too
It's a time of changes from a forlorn winter
To a time to be reborn, the catkins you can see like little tails.
The freshness of leaves the tender greens
Erupting before our eyes,
I so love the times of Spring
Hurrah, it's Spring time.
Spring's here...
