Simply calm and beautiful..
yes its a story, its a story of a young man,
young lovers unsure of one another,
uncertain of how to break the ice.
He walks out of the door,
kicking the autumn fallen leaves,
he comes to the stream,
that meanders through the hills.
he stands there listening to the night birds song,
he pops a pebble in his pocket,
and walks away happily whistling his own tune,
he stops at the temple, in the half moonlight,
there's no one about, except the priest,
as he wakes up and smiles.
The moon shines brightly on the stairs of the temple,
There's a wonderful fragrance blowing in the wind,
its the wild scent of spring,
a newness engulfing over the land,
a new beginning of life a new primavera,
when a new life forms,
trees coming alive new grass with the warmth of the sun
the time for lovers to meet, has anyone come?
he asks, yes someone. Whom ...
the one I picked those flowers,
from early spring, and gifted her one night.
can you still smell the flowers?
can you still smell that night !!!
I can remember everything...
the wind strong, so strong,
the wonderful sun setting the Gold's the orange's
the reds so deep, it was awesome,
the temple bells ringing,
then there she was so calm beautiful,
he could recognise her footsteps anywhere,
as he sees her shadow, he utters it's her,
then I picked that flower and gave it to her.
As the temple bells were ringing in the midnight wind.
Connie.
