Shuttered Window

  • As you stopped by the light, behind the main doors..
  • Where the shadows became real, the madness the sarcastic laughter,
  • Pealing through the hall eerily; Through the corridors of all time,
  • History is such the ancientness of the place sends shivers down my spine..
  • As I see you walk by inside. I arriving in this strange city where I lost myself within myself..
  • Like an invertebrate in a shell protecting myself..In me I have the legacy of the rain,
  • My cloths soaked through, the droplets on my eye lids like dew..
  • The milky sun trying to get through, seeing what's going on down bellow,
  • Like a diamond high up high peeping through those gossamer clouds looking down at us..
  • Behind my window I look and smile at you, as you commanded the rain, for me..
  • But I'd rather see the light, where once you stood wishing for the rain, to come in..
  • But my lovely the rain diffuses my light and without light I can not live,
  • I'd much rather have the sun that's hiding behind those clouds, trying me..
  • My eyes need the light so my soul can breathe,
  • Brightness like dancing in the street holding hands as we skip in a dream;.
  • That boat at anchor and the sailor that sleeps, staying in the tavern drinking too much whisky !
  • That day, A storm was blowing amazingly all the colours of the rainbow
  • But the reds just like, when I kissed your lips,
  • The drops like dew as it settles on you, I kissing your lips..
  • In the evenings of my moods hidden carefully , all evening sitting there;
  • You just looking at me.. Waiting you saw me pass by the old palace gates,
  • Thinking that maybe that's where we should meet. the things we have not, and the little that we have ..
  • It matters not that we have not, material possessions..
  • But love in our hearts, at times intermingled with pain..
  • I forget not, not ever anything, But as I look at you seeing you;
  • My eyes like water falls cascading in the sunlight, but then comes the darkness ,
  • It matters not the glittering sun light. As I walk through my garden, banana plants just bellow,
  • There's nothing like reaching out and plucking that banana ripe, like gold hiding behind those wide leafs..
  • Many a time did just so.. And you walking towards me slowly ever so slowly, then standing by close me..
  • I looking at you lifting my hand caressing you, to touch the contours of your face my lovely..
  • Such a long time that you smiled, you looking at me uttering your poetry just written by you for me..
  • And you my darling your mine. and in my heart always will be Your the best thing that's happened to me..
  • As we go on living forget not anything, as I reach to touch cry for.. you are my world.
  • In between the light of my window pane, the glass the light
  • As we stand behind those green shutters of my window !!
